Solitude comes from Amelia Santiago, a producer within the Café El Zapoteco project in the Sierra Juárez, Oaxaca—a community of around 180 coffee-growing families led by Romulo Chavez, centered in Santo Domingo Cacalotepec.

These coffees are typically washed, with careful fermentation (often 12–36 hours) and sun-drying that naturally moves slower in the region’s cool, humid, misty afternoons—helping build a clean, steady cup.
