Saltwater comes from the Boechat family, whose coffee-growing history in São Paulo State dates back to 1950, when Jacy Boechat began cultivating coffee in Ocauçu (SP).
In the early 1980s, the family expanded to a small property in Nova Colúmbia, near Garça (SP). The farm’s Arabica planting was established from its own nursery, using seeds germinated by Ary Boechat—an approach that reflects long-term stewardship and continuity in the field.
During the 1990s, the family lived on the farm for a decade, strengthening a day-to-day relationship with the land and building the foundation for the work carried forward today.
The current generation, led by José Olavo Boechat, continues the cultivation with a focus on professionalization, consistency, and regional development. Garça Armazéns is one outcome of this ongoing work—connecting producer expertise with broader market possibilities while preserving the farm’s agricultural heritage.

- Brew until you reach 36 ml in the cup.
- The extraction should take between 28 and 32 seconds — not too fast, not too slow.
